DIY Floral Letters for Baby Shower Decorations

Floral letters are an awesome way to announce the name of your baby to all your friends and relatives and make a really great decoration for your new nursery! You probably used foam boards when you were doing school projects.
In terms of flowers, you can use real or fake ones depending what you have to hand or indeed depending on how long you want to use it for a decoration. In other words, if you want to use the floral letters for a long time, go for faux flowers!

Supplies: Styrofoam Block | X-Acto Knife | Fake Flowers | Acrylic Paint Set

Step 1 Firstly lay out your styrofoam blocks and print some oversized letters to use as a guide.

Step 2 Use a marker to trace your letters, which makes it a lot easier to cut the foam correctly

Step 3 Grab you x-acto knife and cut the foam. Take your time as it’s quite a delicate operation!

Step 4 Start inserting your flowers into the foam, you can start with the bigger flowers first then add in the smaller ones after.

Step 5 Finally grab your acrylic paints and paint the sides of the letters to cover up the foam, really vibrant colors work best!
